Richmond Event Planner & Designer Alana Futcher of Chancey Charm was nice to provide the following tips for what to do after attending a Bridal Show like the Richmond Wedding Expo last Sunday. Alana was helped Brooke + Tom plan their wedding day from afar, and was so calm the day of their wedding and helped keep everything on schedule in spite of some unforeseen electrical issues. I hope you find Alana's tips helpful, and for more advice be sure to visit the Richmond Weddings blog: https://richmondweddings.com/youve-wedding-show-now/
"After the expo, you may feel overwhelmed and not even remember who you spoke to or who you felt you connected with! It’s important to go back through all the business cards and information you received from vendors and visit their websites and social media platforms. This should help you remember who is who!
You already spoke with these vendors so you don't need to go through the entire inquiry process. Reach out to them directly and let them know how much you enjoyed speaking with them at the expo and that you would love to learn even more about them and the services they offer. Remember that these vendors met 100’s of brides and grooms over the weekend as well, so their response time may not be as instant as normal. If they don’t already give it to you, ask for a refresher on the packages they offered for attending the expo and meeting them there. Typically vendors will tailor special packages for the expo so you want to make sure you snag that deal!
Expo’s save you from the hours you would normally spend on researching these vendors because you are able to meet with them all in person and really know the person behind the website!"
